Membership in the Band shall be voluntary. Musicians may be accepted at the discretion of the Conductor. All new members will be subject to a musical assessment of their playing during the early portions of our rehearsal process. The assessments will be performed by the conductor, and one (1) of the principal players of that section.
Attendance at all rehearsals and concerts is encouraged
Members shall take full responsibility for the care of the music assigned to them and shall arrange that it be available at rehearsals or concerts when the member cannot attend
The Conductor may, for the purposes of sound balance, limit the size of any section, declining to accept additional members until a vacancy occurs

Mission Statement
The Old Bridge Symphonic Band is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to promote wind music and adult bands to the surrounding community and beyond, by providing high-quality performances that engage and inspire all listeners. The Band contributes cultural enrichment to the Township of Old Bridge, New Jersey and surrounding areas.
